Juicy black fruit, silky tannins and stony minerality. This is bistro wine incarnate.

At St John in London.

Ultra light, refreshing acidity and red berries. So fucking good.

Refined while maintaining slight funky interestingness.

What a gem. Shared a lot of traits with good, well aged red burgundy and had none of the tough/bitter traits of carignan.

Also recommended by the sommelier. Much more expressive and delicate and still considered "orange."

Earthy, tannic, but light bodied. Berry on nose, paired with chicken @ Contra

Lots of funk! Good with cheeseburger

Lovely nose on this 2011 Cotes Catalanes from Matassa. Earth and a bit of mineral. Good with the Pork Chop Milanese at Hearth, and reportedly excellent with the lamb.
