Bennett Valley Merlot

Fruity and pillowy soft with round perfume aromas when it opens up, but it’s ready for drinking now, not too much more aging compared to their Napa.

Rather nice and unusual to try a straight up Merlot from Sonoma. Plush with a ton of cherry. Sustains very nicely.

Needs another 4 years

Merlot is back and better than ever. This is the legit juice, nothing like the plonk that guy in "Sideways" was complaining about.

Bennet Valley, Jackson Park Vineyard. Flavors developed beautifully in this one! Deep fruit on the nose and first taste, then a nice earthy flavor on the finish. The fruit deepened into this mixed dark fruit, smells amazing! That aged earthy deep flavor is a nice finish. Decant for a bit before, small amount of precipitant
