I had very high expectations, that unfortunately did not come true.. Will see what the years to come have to offer this vintage (3 bottles left).

Bright and easy, yet still has some tannic backbone. Still not sold on the 2010s

Every so often a wine surprises. Opened for a Monday lunch of Lamb Ravi pasta with 45 minutes of air and through an aerator this wine was enormously pleasing! Notes of green and black olives, rose petals, dried leaves, forest floor, with a beautiful balance and finish it blew away my expectations! Maybe I need more Monday lunches with wine in my life!

Dried red cherry, earth, leather, licorice spice & rose petal. Still youthful & structured with velvety tannins & racy acid.

Cherry, tar, leather, dried herbs & rose petal built for the long haul, medium bodied with plenty of structure & racy acid.
