Wonderful Chardonnay from grapes grown at Hyde Vineyard in Carneros (vines planted in 1979). Lemony acidity and green apple with some almond and vanilla bean on the finish from the subtle oak. Very balanced, a little oily. Medium bodied at 12.8% abv. Had it with spicy stewed mixed beans and arugula-radicchio slaw in oregano lime vinaigrette.
