Love the texture of this wine. A must for any cellar.

The Ornellaia rep brought this from her cellar and it was the clear star of the night. Much more open for business than I would have expected. Rich, extracted wine with impressive length. Sage, fennel, expresso notes. Will likely shut down at some point but really sexy right now.

Impenetrabile color rubino, quasi sangue. Intenso al naso con sentori verdi subito poi frutta a bacca rossa : more , prugne secche , ciliegie morello frutto maturo e composta. Tabacco dolce , porcino fresco. L'entrata in bocca si avvia morbida , appagante, poi un'ondata di freschezza che equilibra il sorso, tannino ben presente ma non acerbo, stuzzica e promette lungo tempo. Chiusura lunga e preziosa. Vorresti non finisse mai. Anche se giovane se ne apprezza lo spessore e la meritata fama.

Merlot round table: seamless and expansive on mid-palate with very long finish. World class wine with the only negative that it doesn't taste particularly Italian

Complex blue black fruit layers of restrained spice leather sophisticated tannin profile front and mid palate. Incredible length and silky tannins

Luxurious and rich with spices and herbs. Great mouth feel too. This will be Heaven in a few years.
