Ah, Mason Cellars' Pomelo, perhaps my favorite everyday SB. The new 2016 vintage is as expected, light but not thin, with only a hint of creaminess and pleasant but muted lemon and grapefruit flavors, with a sweet-tart finish. This is great as a food wine but my Swiss Army Knife of food wines, and a great value to boot.

Very lemony! Good for a summer sangria.

Drinkable and light. Fruity and acidic, almost pineapple-y! Not my favorite Sauvignon Blanc, a little too sweet

pleasantly surprised at how good this is for $11. honeysuckle, pear and pineapple on the nose. medium to light bodied, dry without being too acidic.

Bought this without a lot of thought basically to deglaze a pan for a roast chicken, but you know, poured a glass while the chicken was in the oven. Well, the bottle got finished and it was great for a sauce and not bad in the glass. I have just come to expect an over-oaked Chardonnay but - especially at the price point - this was entirely drinkable and enjoyable at that.
