Poured a taste, almost pure alcohol o the nose and first sip, so decanted for an hour. Poured a glass, still unfocused and alcohol forward. Beginning to taste cherry, white pepper. Not sure that this will improve. — 8 years ago
2013. Sweet, meh. Better than some American fruit forward wines but ultimately forgettable. I'm having bad luck picking Portuguese wines. I guess I need to do more reading or increase my budget. — 8 years ago
Bought this without a lot of thought basically to deglaze a pan for a roast chicken, but you know, poured a glass while the chicken was in the oven. Well, the bottle got finished and it was great for a sauce and not bad in the glass. I have just come to expect an over-oaked Chardonnay but - especially at the price point - this was entirely drinkable and enjoyable at that. — 7 years ago
Decanted for a little over an hour. This is the last of the bottles that traveled from Atlanta to San Antonio. Most of the "collection" was uh...absorbed before the move out fear. So glad we held onto this one! Dark, dried fruits, velvety texture and the softest of tannins made this a great friend to steaks, and Agnes was particularly pleased with it's pairing with chocolate covered pretzels. Sad this is the last bottle. — 8 years ago
$8.99 basic but I do like most of the product from Magnificent Wine Co. Probably the same blend as their standard House Wine, but presumably labeled just for the great state of Tejas. Nice easy drinking but won't impress many. — 8 years ago
Thought I was buying a different wine, long story but involves reaching deep into the refrigerator to get a colder bottle.... while it was not intended, I still enjoyed this with both raw oysters and ceviche at home. I would prefer a little more crispness but this has nice flavor of peach. Soft, oaky? I'll have to read up on how this one is made. A decent surprise. — 8 years ago
Excellent minerals and velvety texture. Second glass far superior to the first glass, so I would decant this in the future, and perhaps serve slightly chilled. — 8 years ago

Ch-ch-ch-cherry bomb! Stands up well to garlic, which may be the worth of the sweetness. On the scale of K Vintners standards this one rates low, but I've had worse. — 9 years ago
