Deep violet. Assertive black and blue fruit, licorice and violet scents are complemented by suggestions of baking spices and smoky minerals. Pliant and concentrated on the palate, offering ripe cherry, cassis and floral pastille flavors and a hint of spicecake. Closes very long and smooth, with resonating florality and building tannins that add gentle grip. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, March 2021)

The wine is dry, medium+ acidity, high tannins, medium body, high alcohol, medium+ intense flavor of red cherry, plum, blackberry, milk chocolate, cedar. Medium+ finish.
Very good.
But too young.

Eye opener. This winemaker has great vines and the chops to make them into great wines. Not as dusty and elegant as Clos Erasmus... But then again, it's 1/8th the price! Fruit driven masculine red from Prioriat.

Vino de capa y densidad media alta, nariz potencia media, ciruela negra, alcohólico tabaco. En boca carnoso, potente y con buen secante... Final muy balsámico y herbácea.
