Martini & Rossi
Asti Spumante Sparkling Wine
My go to when I desire light and sweet. Love with shrimp and chocolates. Love leftovers next morning with orange or cranberry juice.

Martini and Rossi Moscato d' Asti
From the region of Piedmont, Italy,
this wine is made of Moscato Bianco grapes handpicked.
When I tasted it the first thing I noticed was the aroma. It has a very floral kind of smell, and also has hints of banana, and maybe lemon. The body of the wine has a water-like consistency, and you can feel this when you sip it. It has a balanced kind of taste. Not too sweet and not too acidic. Very pleasant overall. I certainly recommend it.

NV. Don't laugh. Brought as a gift years ago. Probably around 2006 based on the label. Surprisingly tasty with the 10 years of bottle age. Deep golden yellow with an oxidized, carmelized fruit. Paired well with queso and chips.

Dec 6th, 2016Tastes like a not-so-great sparkling grape juice. Too sweet and cloying for me, although admittedly, I'm not a fan of sweet wine in general.
