Wow, Structured, and balanced. Almost rustic till the finish when the power hits you. This needs heavy beef, so tasty.

Not for the faint of heart. If you don't like complex hellish structure stay away. If you are still reading you will love glass after glass.

Oh, and they managed to throw some big rich black fruit in there too!

Very enjoyable, with juicy earthy notes mid-palate that cling to the sides of my mouth, making me want more.

Probably one of the best wines I've ever had. So deliciously smooth. It almost tastes like a dessert wine.

Had the 2003 for Christmas dinner. From magnum. It was beautiful though perhaps past its prime. Velvety and full, the finish was short and thin. Smelled beautifully of leather and tobacco and black brambly fruit.

I am not sure about this one. It was very tight even after an hour of decanting. Nose was weak which I thought was odd. Some dark fruits and ash was all I got. Some more dark fruit and wet leaves and a hint of chocolate was about all I took away from this wine. Did re-bottle and tried it over 24 hours later. Did improve with a lot more expression all around.
