Stunning nose of deep apricot and peach. Super vivid. Slate and herbs. Wet stones. So forward and open aromatically. Peach skin and apricot skin. Palate is balanced and super pure with such finesse and elegance. Peach and apricot flavors abound. Terrific acids and freshness and wonderful complexity already. So linear with a silken texture. Martin Müllen continues to the the feinherb master! Long finish that echoes apricot and peach with salty slatey notes as well. Dynamite!

May 22nd, 2021Thrilling wine. Perfumed nose. Apricot, kumquat, lime zest, rocks, slate, spices, amazing array of aromas. Just stunning. Palate is juicy and deep with wonderful texture from the sugar. Dense with serious mineral and acid backbone. Really deep, really rich. Stunningly pure. Long, mineral and so refined. Will last 20 more years.

Sep 18th, 2016Lovely yet quiet nose of lime and citrus pith. (UPDATE: Nose gets classic Huhnerberg aromas of citrus oil, honey, spices, mineral, dazzlingly complex) Lovely mineral in the background. Serious Huhnerberg bottlings always need extensive air. Delicate and forceful on the palate with that electric Muellen acidity. So balanced and fresh. Dynamic. Really one of the leaders In the feinherb style. Terrific minerality. Fabulous complexity. There is serious mineral vigor here and such balance. Fleshy fruit and so long, concentrated and powerful. An amazing wine.

A wow wine.
Nose is intensely elegant peach.
Palate is peach nectar. Stunningly delicious. So dense. Almost honeyed. Finish is extra. It’s like that extra oomph from a skin contact wine ... but the oomph is all vineyard. Wow.
Internal aromatics are winemaker fairy tale peach perfume.
This wine is insanely good. Why am I not giving it a 10? Maybe could be more mineral.
