@Delectable Wine this the Huhnerberg Auslese **. Thanks!

Wow. Young but lots going on. Unreal clarity and filigree. But nose seems quiet. Wild mint. So young. So rich, so ripe, so honeyed, so young. I’ll be back. Too hard to really judge. 9.6 for now.

Awesome sweet wine in its window. But ages to go. Awesome today tho. Nose of ripe peaches, mineral, swimming pool, so clean, complex and clean, palate is super rich and ripe with amazing acidity and tension. Coconut, apricot, caramel and sweet honeyed citrus fruit. Amazing icing on cake texture, so zenlike in its balance and refinement. Genius. So juicy and over the top complex and delicious. Finishes almost savory and dry. Salty even. Wow.

Wow. Martin says this wine has the highest level of dry extract every recorded in the history of the estate. I believe him. Huge nose of apricot, honey and citrus. Spicey and so mineral. Super earthy as well. Like slate dust, but finely crushed. I know makes no sense. Huge palate but totally dry with incredible vivid apricot and tangelo fruit and dazzling freshness for such a big wine. This needs 15 years. Nothing like this in the Mosel. This is Auslese TROCKEN.

Light out nose. Complex and so mineral. Spice potpourri. Citrus oil, saffron. Cray nose. Uber rich. Very pure. Showing young like you would not believe. Sleek texture. Roses in mouth. Very pure. Long. Like an oil slick of Riesling. Acidity is insane.

Nose is like a dessert wine with some age. Crazy Powerful peach with a hint of petrol.

Palate is huge peach and aged Riesling. Hugely juicy. Just huge. But not blowsy. Mind bogglingly intense.

This is at least 3 years too young to drink. More likely 5. Maybe more. You can feel the density struggling to express itself. This is going to be a crazy life altering wine when it’s ready to drink. It could be a 10... hard to tell.

Finish is perfect intense dried apricot. Actually Better than any dried apricot. Some apricot pit.

Yah. Huhnberberg is one of the great vineyards on earth.

If you must drink this now decant for 2 hours at least.

Bought from fass selections.

Big huge flan like texture in the mouth. So many sweet flavors, all of them: all sweet no funk tropical fruits, honeys, honeycombs, wax scent, caramel and toasted coconut. Mineral: citrus zest acidity that balances everything, clean plastic saffron flavors that cut through and structure everything. Very long and good sweet finish that hangs on like a vapor trail. The wine is funnel shaped in the mouth and holds on for a very long time. I could spend an evening with this.
