Rías Baixas Albariño

This wine is refreshing and versatile, light and very slightly sweet. It has apricot and honeysuckle flavors. We matched it with spicy Peruvian rotisserie chicken and spicy braised green beens.

After a long drive from out of town let’s begin the evening! A very nice Albariño, I’ve rated this one before.

Pale yellow hue. Aromas and flavors of apple, flint, grapefruit, lemon zest, mango, minerals, oil, orange blossom, pineapple, salt, straw, and violet. Medium-light body and high acidity. Inviting aromatics and a crisp finish. Pairs extremely well with seafood. An exemplary wine for beaches and warm weather.

Crisp at first, but mellow, smooth, licorice finish. Very pleasant. Another great find at Grocery Outlet. Wish I’d have bought more.

Lemon. Lots of lemon. Quite crisp and fresh. Mental note to buy again for the summer!

Light and zesty. Great hot weather pool wine! 2017

Nice crisp food friendly wine. Subtle flavors, maybe a bit too much though as it tends to vanish. Enjoyable though.

Bright, tart with good finish. Good pairing with seafoods!
