Absolute Magnitude Gamay Noir

Really fun to share this with @Ellen Clifford and hear about the winemaker, who sounds like a total boss. Carbonic in style (notes of Dr. Pepper I believe?) and lots of fun.

Love love love that Gamay Noir is being planted in Santa Barbara County - this is a really enjoyable bottling and they are organic and B.D. As well so earthy cherry cola notes as well as subtle wood spice

Light fruit flavor, nice texture, a win for any occasion.

Smoky, spicy and high toned all at once. Goes nose to nose with your average Cru Beaujolais. Nice.

Spiced red cherry, white pepper, earth.

Impressed!

Earthy medicinal notes, goji berry, dried jujube, mushroom. Medium body with soft tannins. Reminds me of Anjou Cabernet Franc.

Beautiful CA gamay! Still tasting fresh with 3 years of age. Hope to see more wines like this in California.

2013 - pleasant Gamay varietal flavored. Hints of Pinot noir flavors as well.
