Lovely!!! Black Cherry and Dark Plum. A bit of licorice. Very smooth with a nice finish.

1970 Marques de Murrieta Ygay. Opened, filtered, poured into decanter, and drank right away. Perfect. Drank with Korean short ribs. Still has fruit to it, very soft tannins. Really loved it.

Every few years I buy a decent Rioja, and it never works. Balsa wood, strawberries on the nose. Tannic but overly smooth on the palate. It's not you, it's me. Pandemic bottle #6.
