Well aged. Good color. Smells like old books and jams. Maybe some roasted peppers and grilled meats as well. Flavors are fruit driven and juicy. Very dry tannins. Herbal and woodsy. Cedar plank. This is nice 10 year old Rioja. Not complaints. It’s not as deep as they get, but it’s a good example of the type. Rioja tipica.
