Marqués de Cáceres
Crianza Rioja Tempranillo Blend

This Spanish red blend is a decent enough sipping wine. It is medium bodied, lacking the rather oily mouthfeel which detracts from so many Spanish reds. There are notes of pepper spice and green bell pepper, leading into a pleasantly tart finish. While nothing to write home about, this is much tastier than your average Spanish red.

Oldie but goodie. Nice pedestrian Rioja, great everyday wine.

Mar 18th, 2023We can never keep this one in stock at home because this is our usual go-to. Reasonably priced, this wine embodies everything Spain. Smooth, flavorful and pairs well with everything from a $10 pizza to a fabulous steak dinner.
