Some day 2 notes. Surreal nose of slate, green apple, some tropical fruits and stunning minerality. So slatey. So airy, so intense, so expansive. 9.9 nose today. Palate is just so refined and elegant. So sappy and so pure. Amazing length, texture and my god what finesse. 9.8 to 9.9 overnight.

So this is the 2010 *** Auslese (golden Capsule) which is always the signal for sweet style by Molitor. Precision, Precision, Precision. The acid is super high but so well balanced by the fruit. And no predictors of aging. A wine for the eternity but already so damn delicious!

White capsule

Nose is the apogee of elegant richness. Blind I might guess god’s condrieu. A touch of honey. Gorgeous.

Palate is honey. Minerals. Some other gorgeous stuff I can’t describe. Still so elegant. Rainwater of the gods.

As this aerates the internal aromatics are nectar like. Honey made from nectarine flowers.

Finish lingers like a lovers sweet kiss at dawn.

Off-dry

Flows like honey. Needs to served chilled.

Delicate and smooth. Little sweeter than my preference but the smoothness prevails.
