There is an element of fermented cabbage that is bothering me on the nose. There is also lemon juice, a flowery scent, a trace of a petrol aroma too. The palate is great though with a very strong acid drive, great lemon juice and lemon peel notes all along, some nice width, some grip in the rear, and a very long, salivating finish with lemon and lemon peel, in an ever so slightly bitter note that carries on until the very end. It's a refreshing, prime example of what a dry Mosel riesling can be. Hopefully that cabbage note on the nose is a bit of reduction which will blow away in a moment.

Nice and dry with that mosel gravel on the back end.

Dec 2nd, 2017Classic mosel delicacy. White floral aromatics, with notes of toasty nougat and honey. Very pure, quite fruity with some tropical lychee notes. Some viscosity on the palate, with the acid just matching the sweetness of the wine.
