Softened by time, especially interns of palate structure and tannins. Some very nice secondary and tertiary flavored coming through. Very enjoyable at the time but may not age for much longer — 7 years ago
Very savoury and approachable wine, highly drinkable. Lots of cedar and leather and spice in there, and the palate opens up broad but with nice cheewy tannins. Pas mal! — 7 years ago
Classic mosel delicacy. White floral aromatics, with notes of toasty nougat and honey. Very pure, quite fruity with some tropical lychee notes. Some viscosity on the palate, with the acid just matching the sweetness of the wine. — 7 years ago
Very charming and holding up nicely for the age — 7 years ago
Deep crimson color. Nose a bit musty, like the smell of the earth after rain on a hot day. On the palate it was still fresh and focused, even if a bit closed, with still quite a powerful tannin structure. A treat. — 7 years ago
Pale ruby. Great aromatics, cherry cola abound. The palate is soft and restrained, but opened up nicely with a bit of time in the glass. A riper, sweeter style of Pinot, but there is earthiness and Asian spice too. Tannins form a lovely frame for the fruit albeit in the background. — 7 years ago
A little disappointing — 7 years ago
Lovely Margaux, drinking beautifully at the moment. Very powerful, loaded with secondary and still some primary characters. Very firm and fresh. And just keeps on going. Still on the way up — 7 years ago
Tight, muscular and inky. Tannins appear a bit rough and do not seem quite integrated into the wine. Fresh but Finished a bit short. Probably a vintage thing. A little disappointing. — 7 years ago
