Love cab francs. They can range so greatly! This is in the true Napa style of extracted and mouth coating. Dried plum, cardamom, violets, oak and roasted red pepper- the requisite savory.

December 4th is #CanFrancDay, so I had to start the weekend off right. Pours deep purple in color. ON THE NOSE: slight eucalyptus, dark fruit and a hint of milk chocolate. A little bell pepper but not a turn off. ON THE PALATE: no bell pepper here!!! Tobacco, black cherry and black currant. Medium body medium finish

Dec 2nd, 2016Pours a dark red. Aromas of leather tobacco and cherry. The cherry and tobacco follow through into the flavors with an added hint of vanilla and cedar. A little thin with a shorter finish.
