Complex, high acidity almost bitter to the tongue. Nose:Smokey. Berry and sweeter than expected. Herbs, high in alcohol

Tasted the Mark West Midnight against the Mark West Pinot Noir. Both were wonderful, and the Midnight was the clear favorite. However for the $3.00 per bottle increase the normal Pinot will be our choice because to us tasting them blind, side-by-side it was not a big enough difference. The Midnight has wonderful smoked cherry flavor with a touch of peppery spice. Truly a taste treat! The bodied was a bit fuller with a deeper color than the standard Pinot from MW.
