Big. grapey nose with tons of earth and floral notes. Palate is big and brawny and exceptionally juicy with tremendous depth and velvety but sweet tannins and finishes with tons of cranberry fruit. Very dense with noble tannins and big structure. Let’s see what air does. But very very fine.

Feb 2nd, 2024La Dot! Oh how I love thee. Way way too young. But glorious! Nose is showing some reduction. Will blow off. Gorgeous ripe cherries. Smoke. Leather. Minerals. Floral. Really complex. Palate is so good. So refined and elegant with huge structure and sap. Such purity and depth. Salty almost on the very long finish. Great freshness and explosiveness. Great fruit density as well. Check back in 5 years.

Juicy and so pure with wonderful deep and very pure red fruit and beautiful tannin. Long finish. Very mineral. This has really impressed me. Years to go as well. Still structured and so deep.

Magnum, from a private cellar sold via wine store. The concentration is there, but the vibrancy & fruit are on the downward slope. But a 40$ experiment well worth the pull.

Fresh medicinal funk. Wolf berry. A funky tomato leaf and pink peppercorn aroma, maybe a bit reduced at the start. But then this is all screamingly fresh red fruit and acid on the palate. Silky texture. Pointed but voluptuous. Still a little tannic! Still young! Delicious.
