More depth with deeper complexity this time around as the Pinot fruit took less time to come around. Pinot berry fruits, a touch yeast, with cleansingly precise acidity.

1 person found it helpfulJan 1st, 2015I was a little surprised by the dosage effect at first but once it fans out over the palate the bones of the wine's acid structure and fleshy fruit kick in. Clean, long and fresh on the palate. If anything I was hoping for a little more depth.

So sleek and clean. mineral, brioche, wet stones, beautiful purity, and cleanliness, so balanced and pure. Sappy red fruits. Long and juicy. Rieslingesque precision and tiny bit of sweetness on back end.

Oct 28th, 201550 Chard/50 Pinot Noir blend. Classy nose. So complex and pure. Has an aged and youthful quality at the same time. Terrific. Super complex. Concentration and power with lovely finesse. Such a nice wine.

This, the rose and the tradition are my faves from demets. This is the leanest although it still has great fruit. Nice yeasty notes. Good nose. Terrific value.
