This wine tells the story of what the mazze family has been working for over the last 500 years this is 18 different clones and then 18 are proprietary and ahave been on the site from their origin adating to their environment mutating like Pinot noir but not as much. They planted all of these in the sam location. This wine has a wonderful intensity with an array of spice and a string spence of place very balanced only 9 barrels produced. this is the first vintage and it is really. Moatxcellent!

100% Sangiovese. Mazzei bottled this as Vicoregio 36 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione since 2017.
This has the concentration, richness, and depth of a BdM, yet remains firmly in Chianti territory with sour cherry, dried herbs, and the slightly savory finish. The bright acidity is as good as it gets. Fantastic!
