Nice Langhe but not my favorite; it was tannic and thin on opening and even when it rounded into form, was on the thin side. Strawberry, raspberry, tobacco leaf. You could do worse at Total Wine

Bought for Nebbiolo WT at TW but did not use. StrWberry nose. Great acidity red fruit medium body with great length and well integrated tannins. Very enjoyable.

Strawberry cardamon compote with old leather on the nose. Lots of soft prickly tannins and great acidity. This is a genuine expression of langhe, legendary producer in piedmonte.

Pretty darn tasty! The flavors of dark fruit and black licorice were followed by leather and mushroom. The tannins were very grippy and intense. Went well with Italian red sauce pasta and stuffed mushrooms. Vintage 2012, drank June 2018.
