A dark ruby core with lots of bricking. A stinky nose that’s surprisingly vibrant with tar, tart cherry, wood and a hint of madiera. High toned. On the palate, astonishingly good fruit. Mature but still quite deep and very resolved. Great balance and decent length. This isn’t profound but is an incredible testament to the ageability of Nebbiolo. Complex and fascinating. Lovely
