Very oxidative nose - almost like a sherry. Not the depth or intensity of a good dessert style like a Sauternes or a Beerenauslese. Would like to try a fresher style before passing judgment on Vin Santo.

Awesome honey & pain d’épices nose. On palate, sweet but balanced with some acidity. On finish, got Amontillado sherry-like flavors (biological and oxidative ageing) of rancio and yeast. Complex, beautiful.
