Very oxidative nose - almost like a sherry. Not the depth or intensity of a good dessert style like a Sauternes or a Beerenauslese. Would like to try a fresher style before passing judgment on Vin Santo.

Intense nose of caramel, butterscotch, hazelnut liqueur and aldehyde. Alcohol poking around ever so slightly. Delicious though for sure

Dark amber colour, super viscous, dense and powerful, confronting oxidative aromas of malt, and richness

Complex nutty, black honey flavors, apricot jam. Particularly well made as regards freshness in the mouth

Mariage goûteux avec le gatochoco

Beautiful dessert wine. Med acidity, med+ body, pronounced flavors of toffee, hazelnut, honey, marmalade, dried apricot, vanilla, marzipan and a hint of cinnamon. Long finish.

Awesome honey & pain d’épices nose. On palate, sweet but balanced with some acidity. On finish, got Amontillado sherry-like flavors (biological and oxidative ageing) of rancio and yeast. Complex, beautiful.
