Fruit had started to fad, but what a delicious wine. Tannins we’re fully integrated and a lovely mouthfeel.

Dense and spicy. So good and has life still in it, but likely near prime. Dark red fruits, minute length. Oak integration to the max and plush tannins.

Looks older than it actually is with its slightly tawny colour. Beautiful on the nose with a bouquet of crushed berries and Earth. Medium bodied with well-integrated tannins, but the finish can be longer.

While still a light nice smooth wine, the 1998 we opened in 2015 was on the backend of its life and starting to degrade.
