Yum yum. Dried herbs, dried cherry, black pepper and rustic, funky tannins.

The most accessible of our Chianti Classico line up. Rustic barnyard tannins, almost sugary mid palate, tannin and acidity relatively low for Sangiovese, sandpaper texture, violets.

Good, gift from dad.

Spicy

Deep ruby with hints of brown coloration. On the nose, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, currant, with hints of earth. On the palate, very weak, watery taste. A bit of oak in the finish.

Great wine. This was a 2015 but we also had a 2011 in Riviera Maya which we lived.

Excellent balance. Big notes of tar and occasional bursts of black truffle. I expect this wine to improve over the next 10 years.

Always goes well with pasta and saltimbocca
