An Old World wine. I found the 2011 not as smooth as the 2009 but improves as it breathes. Not complex but at this price point does it have to be. Definite taste of tannins. A wine to have with meals.

Not extremely complex, but still a good chianti. Slight hint of oak, cherry and plum.
