Deep Ruby In Colour. Red and Black Cherry, herbs, earthy - lovely aromatics. A little vanilla on the nose but the oak is well integrated. On the palate more full bodied than I was expecting with those same red and black cherry savoury earthy flavours - low acid. A perfect match with home made Pizza. Good Barbera is under rated I believe.

Dunno how to rate this, ripe vintage and has been met with some serious oak work; not quite how I see Barbera, but drinks like a serious wine. Bluefruits, plum, dark cherry, vanilla and slight toast. Highish acid and fine gummy tannins.

Excellent barbera. Soft tannins, easy drinking, plenty of well rounded fruit.

An easy drinking Barbera made for earlier consumption. Fuller red fruits with mild tannins. An excellent quaffer.

Very punchy on the front, juicy red fruit and mouth-puckering acidity. Slightly warming on the back. Does not overstay its welcome on the palate. Tannins round out with fat.

Zacht gevoel in de mond, fluwelen touch. Sterke maar geen overweldigende smaak. Vergelijkbaar met een Rosso

Had the 2013 vintage, which maybe should have aged a little longer. High on acidity. Still, a rounded Barbera, with an earthy nose.
