So much great savory fruit, dark cherry, hint if smoke, exotic spices. Supposedly there is a bit of Viognier added to the Syrah. Sadly Knez is no more, but the Syrahs they made were outstanding, and with such young vines. This was the 2012, so almost wish I had let it rest a few more years. Definitely going to miss these guys, they took Anderson Valley Syrah to another level. — 6 years ago
Drank the 2013 over two nights. One of the best from AHF, powerful floral aromatics, raspberry and cherry. Plenty of lush fruit on the palate, nice lingering finish. Not as good the second night. — 7 years ago
2012 vintage. Drinking nice now, rich, delicious dark fruit, soft tannins. Great wine from the Monte Bello vineyard, and an incredible value considering where the other fruit goes. — 6 years ago
Held up over 3 nights. More spice than usual, light tannic structure, cherry and a bit of earth on the palate. Finish waned by day 3 but still sweet and enjoyable. — 6 years ago
Really nice barbera. Soft tannins and very nice acidity. Raspberry and dark cherry palate, wonderful lingering finish. Fantastic value for a solid barbera. — 7 years ago
The 2012 Tina Marie was the best vintage I've had from this vineyard. Great Pinot characteristics, plum, forward juice, raspberry, soft tannins, but heavier than other 2012s. Definitely more life in this one. Drank over three days and was tight throughout. One of Ant Hill's best 2012s. — 8 years ago
Clean and delicious, with a lot of nice energy through the palate and finish. Pretty nose. Nice gamay made in burgundy style. A lot of good things coming from this young producer. — 6 years ago
Better the second and even the third day. Floral, fruity, but rich tannins. On the palate spice, blackberry, tar, pepper. Nice finish but the tannins are a bit green. Needs a couple years to soften. — 6 years ago
This wine is irresistible. I forgot how good the Lytton Springs can be. Gorgeous fruit, well balanced with soft tannins. 70% zin with 21% petite sirah to give it heft. Plum, cherry, spicy white pepper and leather. Finish is soft and lingering. Wonderful right now. 2012 vintage. — 7 years ago

Needs a few hours to open up, and even better the next night. Great nebbiolo aromatics, and so smooth on the palate. This will only get better in a few years. A gem of a wine. — 6 years ago
