Good Barolo, but well past its prime. The nose was excellent smelling of tar and earth. But the flavor was washed out and the structure was gone. All that remained was a balsamic vinegar flavor and smooth tannins in the finish. This bottle is about 5 years too old.

Likely past prime, but still good! Mushrooms, tar and Chinese Chinese Essence. Once the initial notes blew off, we got honey as well

Pleasant! Still lots of young berry notes but hints of age coming - tannic layers, nice minerality, just complex enough.
