Cuvée Royale Sparkling Franciacorta Blend

The first wine at the recent Downs Club Italian Dinner. 100% Chardonnay from Franciacorte in Lombardy Could have been a Blanc de Blancs from Champagne. A fine mousse redolent of peach mineral and fresh bread. Refreshing.

The entry level, but round and giving. Really nice.

Fresh and satisfying, hints of tropical fruit but well balanced.

Sweet dominated with Chardonnay acidity.
