Deep tobacco and pepper with dark Marionberry notes. Wonderful showing of Mendoza, but gives Pacific Northwest vibes. A great wine for the North American Palate to transition to Argentina style wines 🍷

Really enjoyed the balance and snap here with briquette grilled beef in the Shenandoah's a week+ back. I preferred it significantly to the 2019 Fronsac I brought along.

Fragrant mountain fruit

A few hours of airtime, as per my usual.
Some tropical notes at first sip - Shea, coconut, this opens the floor up for debate on what comes next, is it the dark chocolate cherry, or cacao nibs with red stone fruits? Hard to say, except the finish is even, tannin acid balance is quite nice.
Overall this is an amazing Cab Franc.

Luscious black raspberry, bitter chocolate and espresso. Tannins and acidity are there. Good stuff.

Very good! Not overly earthy or vegetal like other cab francs. BlackBerry, charcoal, cigar box, and touches of earthy/vegetal notes. Excellent value at $13.

Outstanding once it opened up, which took about three days! Still very young and tightly wound, should be exceptional in a few years. If you drink it now, give it plenty of time to open up, you’ll be rewarded. Great cab franc.

Good, strong, plummy and blackberry fruits. Oaky. Good for cured meats, funky cheese, osso bucco
