Fourchaume 1er Cru Chablis Chardonnay

Delicious and very classic. Nose is bright, minerally, and brothy. Deeply flavored, with ripe apple veering into other orchard fruits and loads of minerality. Acids are medium. Great length. Nicely done.

These are night 2 notes. Nose has dense appley fruit and crushed rock. Only a little bit of that chicken broth note that I usually find more prominent. Big and dense in the mouth. Lots of rocky, seashell minerality. It’s got a lot of power, but the acids are lacking and the finish, while long, turns a wee bit bitter at the end.

Saline and sea foam. Shells, mussels and a wonderful brininess.

Flinty, mineral, crisp apple, gorgeous mouthfeel.

Very crisp first class Chablis. Citrus - Meyer Lemon. Underripe sour Kiwi. Minerals. Super clean mouthfeel. I would leave this alone for a couple more years

My first 2016 reminds me of the focus of 2014. 🤞
