Nose smells a bit dosagey and creamy. But under that a massively intense minerality that is floral and high toned. Really clear and deep. But needs air for complexity to develop I think. Palate is terrific. Lots of 15 razors and angles. Loads of lime pith and some rock candy note on the finish. Delicious and very young. Elegant and long with cracking acids. Really impressive. Persistent with lovely citrus developing.

Obviously very young and primary. Loads of citrus and minerals but very shy on the pop and pour. Rich texture. Remarkably fine bubbles. Already fun now but I would leave these to rest a while. Disgorged Dec 18, 2018

The 2014 Special Club Millesime is terrific. Vibrant and bursting with energy, the 2014 is so alive. Bright saline notes give this 60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay Champagne tons of drive. Time in the glass brings out the wine's striking textural resonance and overall depth, with pretty exotic spice and floral overtones that add the final shades of dimension.
