50/50 Pinot Noir / Chardonnay blend disgorged Oct 2022. This a champagne where the grapes of the blend each had the opportunity to strut their stuff. Scents of almonds , croissant, baked apple and lemons put a smile on my face. On the palate berries show up to fight the citrus. Young , with the acid levels I like. If I had to bet, this is a champagne that will benefit from age and gain in complexity.

Nose has warmed stone fruits, warmed margarine, green apple peel, moist maple wood and crushed limestone.
Palate has under-ripe tangerine, yellow apple flesh, candied orange, day old lemon wedge, minor barrel influence and light acidity. Gentle in the mouth, very fine bubbles, happy.

Pale golden yellow. Love the nose on this wine. A little hay but lots of stone, citrus and white fruits on the nose with aged layers. Great liveliness and acidity (7/10). Solid body. Lovely freshness with lemon and lime notes. Great minerality in the long and lingering finish. Easy to drink but tons of aging potential. Drink till 2028.
