V. light in colour & in the nose with herby undergrowth & mushroom soup dominant. Not much fruit here. Maybe a touch of raspberry.
On the palate this is quite lean, with freshness & nice, sappy acidity. Nice tannins, too - grippy yet juicy. I was, however, expecting a bit more fruit & sturdiness, some am a bit underwhelmed.
It’s not a bad wine though, not at all. Shows nice purity & etheric PN character.
Edit: works amazing well with roast pheasant!

Dec 25th, 2020Garnet; red berries, sous-bois, tightrope licorice and cranberries; fresh, attacking smoothly, freshly, with good depth - old wines make it more 1C quality, easy to drink but has some stuffing, some briary and earthy/leafy aftermath. Nice
