This South African wine carries a pale yellow tint in the glass and shows small bubbles as it pours up slightly frizzante. The nose is amazing, dressed in a citrus minerality that evokes not only a sidewalk after a rain, but a minty eucalyptus note as well. There are traces of smoke and pineapple in the aroma package, too. The palate is flinty and full of acidity. A plate of oysters will go nicely with this bottle.

Dec 16th, 2021Light yellow in color with a golden hue.
Beautiful nose of flowers, honey suckle, lemons, citrus, pears, grapefruits and white pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and nice legs.
Dry on the palate with citrus, green apples, grapefruits, minerals, limes, tropical fruits, pineapples, light vegetables and spices.
Nice length on the finish with almonds and limes.
This South African Chenin Blanc is refreshing and balanced with mild complexity. A little bitter with nice acidity.
A good summer wine, and good all by itself or with food.
I've had it over six months ago, and it's better now, especially on the nose.
12.5% alcohol by volume.

Pretty zippy with nice acid and refreshing. Would recommend at the 10 price point over most sav blanc.

Very aromatic nose of lemons, grapefruits, green apples, white pepper, minerals, peaches, light tropical fruits, spices and bitter herbs.
Full bodied with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with lemons, citrus, green apples, grapefruits, bitter almonds, spices and black pepper.
Medium finish with a bitter ending.
A nice Chenin Blanc from South Africa. Refreshing when chilled, with a bitter aftertaste. As it warms up, it becomes creamy and bold. Nice nose, simple on the palate and nicely balanced. A Good food wine.
I paired it with cheeses and a Charcuterie board.
