Corte di Cama Sforzato di Valtellina Nebbiolo

Delicious, complex, juicy. Love this style.

Been waiting a long time to try one of these. And it delivered on all counts. Tasted like really good Barolo but with a hint of almost sweetness. Kind of like if an Amarone and a Barolo had a baby.

Wieder mal ein Sforzato. Dies, nachdem ich mich bei den letzten etwas „sattgetrunken“ hatte. Dieser…ist….anders. Harmonisch, elegant balancierend zwischen klarer himbeerfrucht, leicht animalischen noten und….alk (16%!!). Traumhaft gut eingebunden. Also…den hier…würde (nicht nur) ich auf eine insel mitnehmen ;)

Amplified Nebbiolo from Valtellina. Bruising alcohol at 15.5% but manages to maintain balance, if not finesse. The nose reads more typical floral qualities with rose petals plus slightly jammy passionfruit, pomegranate seed, and strawberries. The palate is deeper and the oak comes through offering tightly wound, chocolate covered black cherry flavors.

Beautiful nose for #pizzaandnebbiolosundays which is a tradition that needs to be replicated in Atlanta. As it hung out the spruce and juniper came out. A pretty juxtaposition to 2005 Barolo
