Syrah

On Palate: Fine toothed, luscious, Sunday morning bacon, deep black cherries. Smooth, silky tannins. Nose open knit plus all these notes, with an inviting petrol, savory tone. Enchanting. 90 % Syrah/10 Viognier.

Just wonderful. Lean out of the gates but fleshes out with air. Gorgeous aromas.

Absolute freak fest of a nose. Huge violets. Bright berry fruit and insane levels of spice. Wow. Mint. Juniper. Just so Stephan and so engaging. Sick aromas. 9.5. Bright berry liqueur. Palate is classic 21. Serious, structured and utterly classic. Unreal fruit clarity and sap. Wow. Long finish. Needs air. Overnight it got glou-glouey and got so much better. But score stays the same.

Never actually experienced the infamous mousiness before now. I let my wife smell my glass and she gagged. I had to dump it. Straight ass, homie.

A great intro to Stephan’s style at a fraction of the price.

Spicy tannery tannins dancing with acidity and verve.
