These are night 2 notes. (I thought I entered notes on Night 1, but they weren’t there, so Night 2 it is. And that’s a bonus for this wine because it’s better on Night 2.)

Nose is gorgeous, with sweet, sultry cherry ooze, Graham cracker, some moist humus, and a dark florality. Very soft and enveloping in the mouth, great fruit on entry, good mid-palate density and ripeness, and a long finish that tails into savory territory. Really fine value.

What an odd wine!
This reminds me more of a South American wine than an Oregonian wine, for sure.
Some saline, medium bodied, barnyard, menthol, juice. Blind tasted - more of a merlot that a Pinot. It works, yet does not impress.

13.5%. Funky. Earthy juicy. Black cherry plum. Mushroomy. Polarizing. It stays funky even with air.

On palate we have a youthful and energetic wine, driven by vibrant strawberry, cherry and plum flavors with savory notes adding depth. Well-integrated tannins fill the mouth while a fresh, mineral line of acidity provides structure and clarity towards the long finish.

Took a screen shot, sorry for poor photo. This is a 2014. Excellent right out of the bottle.
