Vibrant ruby red in the glass. Black cherry tea and classic Pinot must on the nose, echoed on the palate with insanely smooth tannins and raging moderate acidity. Medium long finish. This stuff doesn't fight back, and it's less than four years on! Another triumph by Ray Walker!

Pretty solid considering all of the drama. A bit tart on the finish and hollow in mid palate. Liked the lower alcohol mouthfeel though. Glad I didn't have to Louie it down the drain.

Waited forever to get, disappointed. Feels like overcompensating for wanting to be "Burgundian" but just ends up being thin and lacking complexity. Rough for the price.
