Maison Henry Fessy
Vieilles Vignes Beaujolais Villages Gamay
Solid value, really like this wine, had another bottle. Maison Henry Fessy today counts 75 acres under vine scattered throughout the Beaujolais Cru and Villages appellations, 98% of which is planted with Gamay. 100% Gamay grape, bright crimson with red fruit aromas and oaky pepper notes. On the palate cherry flavors with espresso, oak and vanilla, soft tannins on lingering finish. Good balance. Nice value for a mid-week red.

Jul 7th, 2018Exactly what I would expect from a Beaujolais. Medium bodied with light fruit, bigger terroir and a very clean finish. Great with grilled lamb
