May 16th, 2015When you combine a great grower and great winemaker, you get something amazing. Smoky raspberry, dark cherry, thyme and herbs. Smooth silky tannins and a long finish. Cellaring for a few years has really improved it.

My friend Paula brought this little gem from #MaisonBleue. Mineral for days, tobacco, sweet leather, and some serious f-ing acid. I love this wine.

With a bit of air this wine sings with bright red fruits and very fine, but still substantial tannins. After some air, this is a great wine with upside potential.
