This is Walla Walla Valley AVA, not Columbia Valley.

Nose has that wet fire pit ash note that is so characteristic of Walla Walla, along with warm, ripe mulled raspberry fruit and crushed stone dust. The palate is broad and very savory, with loads of smoky stones and berry ooze. The only quibble I have is a bit of heat in the finish. It’s 14.9%, and other wineries here tend to have lower alcohol and still achieve this level of ripeness, so hopefully they’ll dial it back a bit in future vintages. Nice accompaniment to watching UMass try to make it to the Frozen Four for the first time.

Fruit driven, bigger for a Grenache. I like it.

Pomegranates and white pepper on the nose. On the palate, dark cherry, minerals, and grippy fine tannins. Long elegant finish.

This wine is killer good! As stated before this wine is from Walla Walla rather than Columbia Valley. It is beautiful in the glass even with the sun shining through... pure, clean, spectacular shade of burgundy. The nose suggests a volcano of peppered fruit. It rolls so smoothly over the tongue...but, yet, finishes with such complexity. And the finish lasts and begs for another swallow. Que’ lastima (that means, what a shame) I only have one bottle of this stuff.

Smooth and savory red fruits with a touch of spice. Ready to drink. Nice.
