Solid drinking, but it’s no coincidence that it was one of the last red finished during lunch.

This wine comes close to the Platonic ideal of a red for my palate. The balance of the fruit with the acid defies adequate verbal description, but it displays the technical assuredness, lightness, and rigor of haute couture. Absolutely outstanding.
