This was surprisingly excellent. Pleasing, robust nose of melon, citrus, and tropics. Hint of lychee. Medium body with crisp, linear acidity. Refreshing finish. A gift, but I’d buy more in a second.

Crisp, clean nose. Has some pears. Less of the catty/grassy zing that NZ does so well. Flavor is simple and eleganté. Green apples in the mouth. Nice easy Sauv Blanc. Not as funky and austere as I like my NZ Blanc to be, but still gratifying.

2016 vintage is excellent. Crisp, tart, flowing with citrus tropical fruit flavors, especially grapefruit and lime, and also gooseberry and passion fruit. I recommend all New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs.
